Hebbal Flyover Bangalore
The Hebbal flyover is a 5.23-kilometre network of flyovers in Bengaluru that connects the Outer Ring Road and Airport Road. It was opened in May 2003. The flyover was built by Gammon India.
The Bangalore Development Authority is responsible for the complete maintenance of the flyover. It is in charge of improving the flyover by adding an underpass and additional loops. The right turn below the flyover is now prohibited, as it causes heavy traffic as commuters take a U-turn to enter the flyover loop.
The flyover project is being carried out at a cost of Rs 106 Crores. With the convergence of Metro and suburban rail projects, the need to accommodate agencies delayed the project. The latest deadline for Hebbal flyover full completion is December 2025.
